Fantastic overview of the life of one of the great artists of Skagen and Denmark. Well worth a visit, as you can get a combination entrance ticket when visiting Skagen Museum.
Beautifully well kept, the house belongs to the renowned Skagen artist and his wife. The house is displayed with all their original belongings, paintings from his private collection and the staff are amazingly educated and love to share their knowledge of the house and the artist. Definitely worth a quick visit and take time to enjoy the garden!
The house was nice and atmospheric. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable
Cozy. Full of life, untouched, warm and real. Art and real life are Mixed here. You can feel it. Just lovely.
Beautifull home of the famous painters family, Anchors. Will recommend a visit if you like historic painters and art.
Very nice. With a cafe just next to it where you can enjoy a nice cup of cofee.
There were a lot of people (week 29, special week in Denmark with more people in Skagen, just heads up) but the house was really nice, to hear the stories and see the pictures. Can definitely recommend. 80 kr entry and children (0-17) free
Lovingly maintained, if a bit overdone with the sheer abundance of objects. But the great salon is worth seeing—what great gatherings must have taken place there!
Very interesting to see the settings of the skagensmalere. Everything seems quite original and it's easy to imagine the life of the painters and other artists that inhabited or visited the house 100-150 years ago. Placed close to the Skagensmuseet and it's a no-brainer to do them both in a row.
One of the best museum I have visited here in Denmark.
Old House one of the most popular painters from Skagen - Anna. Really nice and really worth to stop by.
